Privacy policy

Provisional version of 2026-11-03.

This policy is provisional. It describes how EATIQO is expected to work and will be replaced by a final version before the app opens to a wide audience. Points marked "to be confirmed" are not yet verified.

1. Who is responsible

EATIQO is operated by CGWEB (Canada Global Web), a sole proprietorship in Bathurst, New Brunswick. The person responsible for the protection of personal information is the person who operates the business. Contact: contact@eatiqo.com.

2. Information we collect

We never ask for your origin, ethnicity or religion.

3. Artificial intelligence

To suggest meals, EATIQO sends OpenAI, our artificial intelligence provider, the food list you confirmed, your cuisines and the ingredients not to use. If you agree to send photos, they are sent to OpenAI to identify your food. Your name and email are not sent.

Recipes are filtered automatically using the foods you declared: EATIQO's own rules, not AI alone, exclude those foods. Always read labels.

4. Why we use this information

To give you access to your account, suggest meal ideas, exclude the foods you declared, keep the service secure and working, and answer your requests. We do not sell your information.

5. Hosting and service providers

The processing locations of all service providers (hosting, email, AI provider, app stores) are not all confirmed; the full list will be published in the final version. This site uses no cookies and no tracking or analytics tools. It is delivered by Cloudflare, which may process technical connection logs.

6. Retention and deletion

7. Your rights

You may ask for access to your information, its correction, its deletion, and a copy of your data (JSON export, within 30 days, to be confirmed). Write to contact@eatiqo.com. You can also withdraw your consents in the app.

8. Minimum age

EATIQO is for people aged 18 and over. We delete the account if we learn that a user is a minor.

9. Security incidents

If an incident presents a risk of serious harm, we notify the people concerned and the competent authority, as the law requires.

10. Changes

This provisional policy will be replaced by a final version. The version date appears at the top of the page.
